The last 11 months has been difficult for everybody in more ways than one. During that time I have supported a variety of clients in a number of ways helping to keep them mentally strong, resilient, optimistic and focused.
Supporting clients in this way has also helped me to stay strong and resilient, although there have been times when I haven’t felt that way. This is one of the great benefits of helping others – you help yourself in the process.
While some of my clients have thrived during this time, some have faced enormous setbacks.
This is why I am really passionate about running my Motivational Monday’s campaign this year, to provide the support, inspiration and mental skills that people need to handle the inevitable c
hallenges they are faced with.
The campaign has had great success in the past and raised money for some fantastic charities. This year we are supporting a charity which I believe is paramount to the current time, Mind Manchester, who support people young and old with their mental health.
I have been teaching the principles of high performance mindsets for 12 years now, both in business and elite sport. I have been fortunate enough to work with some great people and learn from some great people too.
One of the things that still surprises me about many organisations, is how little support and training they put in place for their people. Some are great at it, but in the majority are not.
Most businesses are about people. People are the fabric of most organisations, yet they are not always treated that way.
Motivational Monday’s gives me the opportunity to go and deliver training (that I usually charge clients thousands of pounds for) in return for a small donation of £100 to our nominated charity.
As a proud Mancunian, I wanted to do something that makes a difference in my community and this campaign allows me to help other businesses to inspire their people, while raising money for a great cause.
Every Monday starting from the 15th February, I will be delivering 3 x 60 minute sessions with 10 Q & A (9am, 12pm and 4pm).
